About Us

When we met, we were just two expectant, first-time mothers who knew nothing about becoming moms.  We were scared about giving birth, nervous about bringing our babies home, and afraid that we would fail.

As fate would have it, we both signed up for the same prenatal class to learn some basics about giving birth and bringing home a baby. Katie, who was 8 months pregnant, and her husband Peter arrived early and had great seats in the middlecentre of the classroom. The class starts then suddenly in waddles Amanda, hugely pregnant with twins. Her husband, Keith, was away on business so her mother comes walking in behind her carrying a big green plastic Adirondack chair, 2 pillows, and blanket, all supplies to help her get through the day somewhat comfortably (let’s face it, you’re not going to be that comfortable when you’re super pregnant!). She sat in the aisle right behind Katie and her husband, Peter. Once Amanda sat down, Katie turned around and said to her “can you see?” to make sure she could still see the instructor at the front. Those three words started it all…

What we didn’t realize at the time is that most moms feel very lonely and isolated. For us, meeting in prenatal class and exchanging contact information was a game-changer in our lives as mothers. We now had a friend who was at the same point in life, we could meet up, both online and in-person, so we weren’t lonely. We had someone to talk to for support when we were struggling and we went through all of the baby stages together. We never experienced the extreme isolation that so many mothers feel because we have always had each other. This is why we started the Best Life Moms Club. To give mothers like you, a safe community where you can make friends, feel supported and have the information you need to successfully evolve into being a great mom.

Please let us introduce ourselves…
